Memorial Day Weekend ‘12
So Friday I headed to Shelby’s in the city to grab dinner. We went to Noe Valley and had dinner at Barney’s. It was yummy and we shared a plate of chicken tenders and spicy curly fries with awesome ranch dipping sauce, our usual favorite. Then I convinced her with help from her dad to come back home with me. So it was like 8:30 when we left the city and headed to Concord. As we were approaching the exit to get off at we decided to call Sam to see what she was doing. We then invited ourselves over and Sam laughed and called us crazy when we arrived at her doorstep around 10. Then we hung out and decided to call up her friend Leo and see if anyone was having a party or kick it. Then at like 11:30 we were whisked to a kick it in the “boonies”. We didn’t get back to Sam’s house until 4:30. We all woke up at 9:30 so Shelby and I could get back to my house. Shelby slept the whole day, regaining her energy and I went to the festival with my sister, mom, and nephew. We rode a few rides and I fell in love with an eleven week old shih tzu/terrier mix puppy. I was EXTREMELY close to adopting it and am still so disappointed that I wasn’t allowed to. At around ten Shelby and I headed back to Sam’s for a kick it. Different vibe than the night before but still a good time and good people. Today I had a family bbq and I passed out on the couch for a few hours then came home. Tomorrow I might go to the beach and hang out with my cousins.
All in all it was an awesome weekend.
